You can use external tools or apps to interact with your Linden account via our remote MCP server. This page explains what that means, why it's useful, and what you can do through it all in simple terms.

What is MCP (“Model Context Protocol”)?

What is MCP (“Model Context Protocol”)?

What is MCP (“Model Context Protocol”)?

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It’s a standard interface that enables apps and tools to communicate with a system (like Linden) in a structured, predictable, and secure way.

Rather than building custom integrations for every tool, MCP offers a common “bridge” so tools can request actions (like “get profile” or “list family members”) without knowing Linden’s internal architecture.

A remote MCP server means this bridge is exposed over the Internet, so authorized tools can reach it from any location.
