You can use external tools or apps to interact with your Linden account via our remote MCP server. This page explains what that means, why it's useful, and what you can do through it — all in simple terms.

What can you do via MCP on Linden?
Once a tool is connected via MCP (and you approve access),
it can perform tasks such as:
SETUP
1.
Choose or install the tool
Use the external app or tool you want to connect (Cursor, ChatGPT).
3.
Authenticate / authorize
The tool will redirect you or prompt you to log in to your MyLinden account. You’ll see a consent screen asking which permissions (scopes) it needs (read, write, etc.). Approve only what you’re comfortable with.
4.
Tool invokes actions
After authorization, the tool may call MCP “methods,” such as `getAccountDetails`, `listFamilyMembers`, `createContact`, or `getReminders`.
5.
You get responses
The responses (data) come back in structured form (e.g. JSON) and the tool displays them.
6.
Manage or revoke access anytime
You can return to your settings in Linden and revoke or change permissions of any connected tool.
